Sleepy fawn

Awoke early, to find a fawn curled up under a tree, not 20 yards from the terrace –

It saw me, but didn’t seem too bothered as I tried (unsuccessfully) to get a photo from inside the house.  It slowly got up, stretched, and wondered off into the woods …… so cute!

K family – Isle of Wight

Have to recommend this ‘home from home’ very highly. A beautiful property, in a beautiful area of France. There’s plenty to do in the area, or if you choose to stay at home, there’s plenty to do at the house. The owners have provided everything for you in the way of entertainment, children’s games, sports activities and the use of the extensive grounds. The property has a fully equipped kitchen, washing facilities and a fantastic pool area. Our family relaxed completely and really didn’t want to leave! We have had a wonderful week, weather fantastic, pool even better.  The house was ‘home from home’ with everything you could wish for.  Saw deer and squirrels in the garden every morning, whilst drinking our coffee in the beautiful surroundings.  Thank you for the great week and welcome basket.  July 2019.

Fantastic week in this simply wonderful cottage.  Stunning location, excellent walks, superb restaurants in the local villages.  Many thanks to the owners for allowing us to say in their gem of a cottage.  We’ll be back!  June 2019.

V family, Suffolk

We have just spent the last two weeks at Cap del Bosc and would like to stay for another two; the house is perfect with so much entertainment for us all.  The weather was mixed so we had the opportunity to sit out in the sun, play by the pool, and then watch films, paint and play games on the rainy days!  We also got to explore this wonderful region and practice the language not used since our GCSE years (so much to re-learn for when we return!).  Returning to sunny Suffolk relaxed and rested.  June 2019.

Picking, washing and drying is quite time consuming –

when I’m washing them I wish I hadn’t picked so many – but when they’re dried and ready to eat, I wish I’d picked more!

Late September

The end of another summer, Cap del Bosc clothed in the turning colours of Virginia Creeper – the weather has been sunny with bright blue skies, making a late September visit very enjoyable ………..

Good holiday – weather has been beautiful, so we have enjoyed the pool! Peace and quiet, batteries re-charged.  Would like to return before too long!  September 2018.
